Rome Capital – Municipio VII in collaboration with Vinòforum inaugurates Urban Safari: Art. Food. Wine: a calendar of 4 events that will draw a journey through culture and food and wine in 4 of the most beautiful locations in the Appio district, from July 18th to 21st.
Citizens will be able to experience the magic of sunset with music, theater, reenactments, screenings, and tastings of local wine and food specialties, in a unique experience that brings together past and present, archaeological heritage and contemporary creativity, tradition and innovation.

A free guided tour of the stretch will take in several points on the ancient Via Latina, including the Roman Cistern known as Il Girolo with its panoramic view of Caffarella and Cecilia Metella, the ancient Basolato, and the so-called Mausoleum of Cessati Spiriti.
The visit is organized by the HUMUS CULTURAL ASSOCIATION and the CAFFARELLA PARK COMMITTEE.
